Most of us lead very busy lives with responsibilities for family, home, career, finances, and many other life challenges. Over time we develop routines, divisions of work, and special times and places for relaxation and retreat from a hectic world. These are all situations that are familiar and allow us to be in control. Changing any of these would be uncomfortable, especially if it involved people who were different that we did not know and caused us to go places with which we were unfamiliar. It would take a leap of faith. It would cause us to trust God.
The Missions Ministry is focused on the Kingdom of God. As Jesus modeled for us, during His ministry, we too will perform acts of kindness in our community and beyond that will earn us the right to share the Gospel with those who do not know Him. We will provide opportunities to grow spiritually through service to others in varied settings in Marble Falls, the Hill Country, Texas, the United States and to the ends of the earth. You will experience an exciting life change when you take the focus off of yourself and put it on others as you become the hands and feet and voice of Jesus.
Ongoing Missions Opportunities
Angel Food, The Food Pantry, and Meals on Wheels – Are three ministries that provide a community wide food coop, food for those in need, and food for those who cannot get out on their own.
Prison Ministry – Ministers to the women in the Burnet Facility. The Ministry includes prayer, evangelism, Bible based teaching and mentoring.
Helping Hands – Is a ministry of volunteers that provide home repair, home cleaning, transportation, meals, repairs and lawn care, moving assistance, and encouragement. It is a ministry dedicated to serving those in need.
Community Outreach – As needs arise teams are assembled to meet the challenge. We will take on any need in our community that will honor God and help our neighbors.
Creative Hearts Ministry – Is a group of ladies that design and produce quilts, caps, bags, and a myriad of other items that all celebrate the Lord and are sent all over the world. Recipients include wounded soldiers, children and families in need in third world countries, and homeless in the hill country.
Faith Evangelism – A group of people committed to sharing Christ with others, and winning souls to the kingdom!
